The 2.5-liter non-turbo engine will carry over, but with a little more power and the addition of cylinder-deactivation technology for AWD and higher trims of front-wheel drive models. The 2019 model may be a little quieter in the cabin than last year's model. Full specifications have yet to be released for the 2019 Mazda3, but we can be pretty sure the new model will have a few more advanced safety and driver-assist features than its predecessor. Of course, it's up to the buyer how much impact such additions will have on their buying decision, but more safety tech has to be a good thing, doesn’t it?
