Riverside Mazda Shoppers First Look Comparison - 2018 Mazda3 vs 2019 Mazda3

When a new model of a car is imminent, it can prove something of a dilemma for buyers. Do they take advantage of a great deal on a last year’s model at a dealer like Riverside area Mazda dealership, CardinaleWay Mazda in Corona or do they forgo a discount to go for the latest thing instead? Buyers who are considering the Mazda3 may want to compare the 2018 Mazda3 with the 2019 Mazda3. Read on and we’ll take a look at the two versions. When you see the 2019 Mazda3 at any Riverside Mazda dealer be sure to visit CardinaleWay Mazda, you’ll find it doesn't look outrageously different to the 2018 Mazda3 on the outside, and the front fascias are very similar. However, every line and crease of the body has been sharpened and tightened on the new model, especially with the five-door hatch. The outgoing model was always one of the most attractive cars of its size in any class, not just mass-market models, and the same will inevitably be said of the new model. If you like the way the 2018 model looks, you'll love the exterior styling of the new Mazda3.

Reviewers at the carscoops.com website certainly agree, writing this about the 2019 Mazda3: "Either way, if you’re in the market for a new and sporty C-segment hatchback, it’s probably best you wait until you can test drive the all-new 2019 Mazda3, because, well, just look at it!" Inside the cabin, the updates are a little more obvious than they are on the outside. It appears Mazda has chosen to adopt a "less is more" approach by de-cluttering the interior, especially the cockpit. The new interior styling is cleaner, simpler and some may think a little Spartan, but it certainly isn’t an exercise in cost-cutting by the manufacturer by any means. The quality of trim and materials is better in the 2019 Mazda3 than last year's model, and that's saying something, as it already resembled a luxury model in higher trim levels. As of this writing, we still have to wait for the new-generation Skyactiv-X engine to make its debut in the Mazda3. The initial launch of the 2019 model will stick with lightly updated versions of the 2018 engines. Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions will still send the power from the engine to the front or all-four wheels of the 2019 Mazda3. The 2.5-liter non-turbo engine will carry over, but with a little more power and the addition of cylinder-deactivation technology for AWD and higher trims of front-wheel drive models. The 2019 model may be a little quieter in the cabin than last year's model. Full specifications have yet to be released for the 2019 Mazda3, but we can be pretty sure the new model will have a few more advanced safety and driver-assist features than its predecessor. Of course, it's up to the buyer how much impact such additions will have on their buying decision, but more safety tech has to be a good thing, doesn’t it? There's no doubt the 2019 Mazda3 is an upgrade from the 2018 Mazda3, and if you like hatches, the 5-door version of the new model is simply stunning. However, the upgrades aren’t radical, so a good deal on a 2018 model is worth considering. On the other hand, even if it does mean paying a little more to get a new 2019 Mazda3, it's hard to see too many people complaining.
